Another consideration many have when deciding to join the Alaska Army National Guard is in regards to what pay they will receive and if there is a bonus for joining. Below is a cursory look at the pay and bonuses available to qualified applicants. Contact a recruiter for more information.
How much will I be paid?
As a Private/E-1 in the Maryland Army National Guard you will earn $169.80 during your weekend drill. A Specialist/E-4 will earn $221.72 during a drill weekend.

*Must ship to basic training between October and May or ship within 45 days.
